Graduate and Professional Student Appreciation Week helps build community between graduate students on UT's campus. Most graduate students rarely meet anyone outside their department; this series of events gives them the opportunity to do so in many different ways. Building community between students is one of the core values of the University of Texas and GPSAW will improve student experience by allowing students from different disciplines to meet and socialize throughout the week.

• 2-4pm: Ice Cream Social & Grad Research Showcase - Poster displays of graduate students’ original research, cash prizes for the best entries, plus FREE Amy’s Ice Cream!

Tuesday, April 6:

• 2-4pm: Origami Workshop with Healing Origami – Help us meet our goal of folding 1000 paper cranes and make a sick child’s wish come true!  ALl cranes will be donated to Dell Children's Hospital
