- Description: Conducts and oversees general and special elections, particularly those for executive officers in the first week of March.

- Notes: Consists of a chair and at least two members recommended by the GSA President and approved by 2/3rds of the Assembly. Cannot concurrently serve as an officer or representative (regular or alternate) of the Graduate Student Assembly.
- Committee Name: Mitchell Excellence in Graduate Research Awards Committee
- Description: Consists of 1 chair and 12 members tasked with selecting the recipients of the George H. Mitchell Award for Excellence in Graduate Research from a panel of submissions. This annual award annually recognizes outstanding master’s or doctoral research that is substantially in progress and comes with a $3,000 monetary award.

- Committee Name: Livingston Outstanding Graduate Student Employee Awards
- Description: The Graduate Student Assembly appoints the chair of this committee, who is tasked with choosing three recipients (one TA, one RA and one AI) of the William S. Livingston Outstanding Graduate Student Academic Employee Award. The award recognizes outstanding working done by graduate student employees and comes with a $2,500 monetary award.

- Description: This committee is chaired by the GSA Financial Director and reviews funding applications each semester from registered Graduate Student Organizations.

- Description: The Provost's Graduate Advisory Committee (PGAC) is an opportunity to set a Graduate Student agenda with the Provost and discuss whichever issues are felt to be pressing at the time. It consists of the GSA President and Vice-President Internal, along with eight other members, and the Provost.
